sseOn December 22nd, 2009 the Council of Ministers adopted 8 resolutions concerning the establishment of multi-annual investment support programmes. In the frame of the programmes companies declared to invest PLN 1.3 billion and to create 2,400 jobs.

MTU Aero Engines Polska will receive PLN 12.5 million from national budget. The company will also benefit from CIT exemption. In Tajęcin by Rzeszów the company plans to create a production-research-service centre for the production of aviation engines and engine components. MTU declared to invest over PLN 258.3 million and create 418 jobs.

Thanks to the support of PLN 14.7 million from the national budget Fiat Powertrain Technologies Poland will strat production of small petrol engines in Bielsko Biała. New solutions which are planned to be introduced in the facility will enable the company to considerably reduce production-connected CO2 emission. The company will create 400 workplaces and will invest PLN 673.2 million. The investor is also entitled to CIT exemptions which would cost the company PLN 38 million.

Support of PLN 1.4 million will be allocated to the investment managed by Fujitsu Services Poland. The project assumes the creation of a Technical Support and Client Service Centre in Łódź - which will be one of major European centres providing services by phone and via Internet for the company's clients. Fujitsu will invest PLN 5 million and employ 450 people. Additionally, thanks to co-operation with other companies in the region, the investment’s neighbourhood may see further 45 jobs created.

Robert Bosch in Warsaw will be granted PLN 1.1 million and will open a Center for Research and Software Development, which will be creating manufacturing solutions for Bosch Group production facilities, both in Europe and worldwide. Investor declared to invest over PLN 1.3 million and generate 117 jobs.

The state budget will also allocate PLN 2.4 mln to Steria Poland, which intends to create in Katowice a Global IT Processes Support Centre. The centre will deal with infrastructure monitoring and remote IT operation management. Steria will invest PLN 1.4 million and create 250 workplaces. Additional 25 jobs may be created in the region due to the supported project.

In Tychy a German company Ford Werke, in co-operation with Fiat, will start production of Ford Ka and Fiat 500. The new Tychy-based plant will offer employment to 800 people who have currently been working at Fiat’s facility. The number of jobs which may additionally be generated by the project is estimated at 2.4 thousand. Investor declared outlays of PLN 315 million. Support from the state budget will amount to PLN 16.7 million.
