kirchhoff_n_logoOn 17 June this year, representatives of the Management Board of KIRCHHOFF Polska signed a letter of intent with the authorities of Gniezno concerning the construction of a manufacturing plant in this city.

The supplier of metal components for automotive industry is planning to invest about 15 million euro. At the 1st stage, there is a plant with the area of nearly 6 thousand square metres to be constructed at ul. Cegielska. It will be completed and put into use at the beginning of the next year. The investor declares that at first about 100 people will be employed there.

The area on which the plant will be established will be included into the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone.

This is yet another investment of KIRCHHOFF Automotive in our country. The German Group has operated in Poland since 1998. It has three plants: one in Mielec and two in Gliwice. KIRCHHOFF Polska is a supplier for e.g. Opel, Ford, VW, BMW, Daimler, Porsche, PSA, Renault/Dacia. In connection with the last year’s increase in orders, the company made investments for the total value of PLN 70 million, which include the expansion of plant in Mielec, and providing new manufacturing equipment in Mielec and Gliwice (plant at ul. Nobla).

KIRCHHOFF Polska employs more than 1,400 people.
